I know exactly what I'm going to do. I'll play chess. I'll play giant chess. I will play with big, giant, oversized chess figures. I play, I live. The game of chess fills me with tranquillity, strong emotion, focus and joy. Yes, it really does.
Let's play!

This page answers the FAQs about our products. If you should have further questions, we are happy to answer them - please contact us directly.
1. What kind of wood is used to carve these chess pieces?
The figures are carved in teak wood, which is a very reliable material for outdoor pieces.
2. How are the figures supplied?
Our reliable transport business takes care of every shipment detail.
3. Do you provide the chessboard as well?
We do provide the chessboard, although we recommend chessboards made of stone or marble (which creates a better visual impact as well).
4. Is there a guarantee?
We guarantee our pieces against technical defects for 1 year. We do not offer a warranty to cover any natural changes in the wood or for damages caused by usernegligence.
5. Does the wood ever change as time goes by?
Since wood is a "livingmaterial", changes can happen to the pieces over time. For example, permanent clefts occur because the wood constantly moves. This is seen as a benefit though, because the sculpture becomes even more unique.
6. Are the chess figures really resistant to atmospheric conditions?
Yes, because teak wood is one of the most durable types of wood. It is often used in the construction of ships.
7. How do I protect the pieces from rain?
Basically rain does not constitute a threat for teak wood, which is very suitable for outside use. Nevertheless it is recommended that the pieces are covered or moved inside in case of heavy rain or snowfall.
